«NEURO-SPIRITUALISM».
«Neuro-spiritualism» is the neurons of the soul, so I dubbed my own style of painting, concerning my «cosmic» works.

I’ve always wanted to capture the global connection of things in the universe. It is interesting how a tree and a person interact with each other, a stone on earth with a stone on the moon, bird songs with whale songs, and so on.

At the level of spiritual perception, I intuitively understand, or rather guess, that the universe is an endless neural network, a kind of «Heavenly Wi-Fi» with countless invisible and not yet fully proven by science natural connections.

My creative act is like a seance, where I transfer my impressions of contemplation of the world to the canvas. Planning the future composition of the painting is alien to me. The puzzle develops gradually, out of sensations. Harmony of meanings is born from chaotic spots. In the process of intuitive creation, visual images are released from the subconscious. Often these images are blocked by a banal template perception. In a state of «awareness» or «enlightenment», the world is seen differently, at the energy level, where a prophetic dream becomes a reality, and deja vu flows into an event.

My paintings depict artistic images combined by conditional fractals, which symbolize the inextricable connection of everything in an infinite universe where everything consists of a single matter-energy. In some places, the picturesque substance freezes on the canvas, acquiring static forms, and somewhere the colors evaporate into ether. As in space, energy condenses into visible matter or dissipates into the void.

Classical painters depicted a material shell — a visible objectivity. The Impressionists painted air — a space that unites objects. I write the energy that makes up everything — both air and objects.

My unique painting technique is a kind of randomness generator. Although, as you know, accidents are only random at first glance.

«Neuro spiritualism» is a creative act of spiritual perception, at the level of neural interactions with the universe.

«Neuro-spiritualism» is the neurons of the soul.

Energy can be in different states. It may lurk in the clenched muscles of an animal preparing to jump or in the gentle water surface of a river in front of a multi-meter waterfall, or it may be already in the process of release — to rage, illuminate with the light stream of a burning star or an erupting volcano.

Sergei Sklyarov’s painting is not just like energy, it is energy itself in a latent or active state. 
His paintings never repeat themselves, they do not exploit the same plot, but even being painted in different techniques and styles, they are united by one handwriting: energetic.

Sergey himself hardly explains how his paintings are born, even when they depict not abstract energy flows, the image of which he captures at the level of neurons in the brain, but quite specific people, landscapes, genre scenes or mythological plots.  It often seems to him that he writes them as in a dream, closing his eyes, in a trance, not understanding who or what is driving his hand, but at the same time feeling the vibrations, smells and sounds of what is being depicted.

The birthplace of his creations is the ancient village of Kuchuk Lambat. In fact, it is the center of an amphitheater formed by four places of power of the Crimea: lacollites — Ayu-Dag, compared to a Bear, Castel-Dag, compared to an Elephant and Mount Paragilmen, compared to a Wave continuously moving towards the Black Sea — a mighty element, part of the World Ocean.
All these sources of powerful potential and kinetic energy seem to focus on an ancient village and affect any creature, and even more so on a talented person.

He is helped to transfer energy to the canvas by a serious art education received at the Simferopol School named after N. S. Samokish and the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.

Sergei Sklyarov’s works are constantly present at various exhibitions, in metropolitan art galleries, and are among connoisseurs of his work in private collections around the world, one of which already has several dozen of his works.
